Job summary

UG2 is seeking a Licensed HVAC Technician to support a state-of-the-art life science campus in Cambridge, MA. The role involves preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, and system design discussions for critical building systems.

Responsibilities include diagnosing HVAC issues, troubleshooting, and maintaining building automation and energy management systems. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered along with tools and free parking.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 3–5 years of related experience preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with large tonnage HVAC equipment.
• Ability to service and repair refrigerations, pumps, VAV boxes, and energy management controls.
• Deep understanding of building management systems and safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and trend facilities systems and status via building management system.
• Inspect, adjust, modify, and repair boilers, heating, and cooling systems and related equipment.
• Perform pump rebuilds and replacements to ensure system operation.
• Communicate with owner/manager about work status and system condition.
• Respond to service calls including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and basic carpentry tasks.
