Job summary

CSN in Las Vegas is seeking an Air Conditioning Technologies Lab Technician to support lab operations of scheduled and open labs, assist instructors and students with the operation of specialized HVAC equipment, and help ensure labs are prepared with accurate inventories for classes.

This is a full-time hourly position requiring an EPA card, hands-on equipment maintenance experience, and the ability to set up HVAC machines.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining equipment in a lab or field setting.
• Ability to set up HVAC related machines and systems.
• Proficiency with HVACR industry tools and processes.
• EPA certification/card is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for lab operations of scheduled and open Air Conditioning Technologies Labs.
• Support instructors and students with operation of specialized equipment during labs.
• Perform minor maintenance on specialized lab equipment.
• Assist to ensure labs are prepared with proper inventories for classes.
• Assist the instructor in planning and preparing labs with full-time faculty.
