Job summary

William & Mary is seeking an HVAC Installation & Repair Technician for its Lab Facility within Facilities Management. The role involves installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC equipment to ensure optimal indoor air quality, temperature control, and energy efficiency.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, EPA Universal Refrigerant License, and a valid driver’s license with at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

• HVAC maintenance, repair, and construction experience.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant License required.
• Valid driver’s license with at least two years' driving experience.
• Able to read blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Able to climb ladders and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems to code standards and permits.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document all work orders.
• Respond to emergency service calls to ensure indoor air quality and energy efficiency.
• Complete work orders promptly and communicate status to supervisor.
• Support additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
