Job summary

Ai Signal Research Inc. seeks a skilled environmental systems technician to maintain climatic and dynamic test facilities in Huntsville, AL.

You will service HVAC and lab systems, read technical drawings, and ensure regulatory compliance while contributing to mission-critical testing programs. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, have years of relevant experience, and can obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Five years of relevant experience in testing/engineering, or two years plus three years of related education.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling (freon recovery) required.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• Explosives certification may be required; willingness to obtain Ammunition and Explosives Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair operations for Climatic and Dynamic Test Facilities, including preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Install, modify, and repair HVAC systems and related environment control equipment.
• Maintain and repair lab systems (fume hoods, pumps, deionized water, etc.).
• Read and interpret scientific instruments, plans, and manuals; follow safety and NEC regulations.
• Possess ability to work around explosives and lift heavy loads; willingness to work extended hours with short notice.
