Job summary

Drake Mechanical, Inc. in Boise, Idaho is seeking an experienced HVAC service technician to install, service and repair residential and commercial heating and cooling equipment with a proactive team.

You will inspect systems, troubleshoot, follow local codes, explain options to customers, and keep service records. 3+ years HVAC experience, EPA certification preferred, own basic hand tools, and a clean driving record are needed.

What you’ll do

You’ll service and install residential and commercial heating and cooling equipment alongside a team of driven technicians, sharpening your skills every day.

• Install, maintain and repair air conditioners, furnaces and other HVAC equipment
• Inspect systems to find problems early
• Troubleshoot and make repairs or replacements
• Follow local building codes and safety rules
• Explain options clearly to customers
• Keep accurate service records
• Work with other technicians and trades

What you bring

We’re looking for someone dependable, energetic, organized and family-oriented, with a strong work ethic and a growth mindset.

• 3+ years of HVAC service experience
• EPA certification preferred
• Your own basic hand tools
• Clean driving record and valid license
• Background check and drug test
• ServiceTitan experience, or willingness to learn

Pay and benefits

$26 to $35 per hour, full-time, year-round, Monday to Friday with on-call rotation and overtime as needed. All employees receive incentives paid monthly and can join the company’s profit share program after 60 days.
