Job summary

Mandolin HVAC & Construction is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to service and repair heating and cooling systems in homes and commercial sites. The role requires EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently or with a team to deliver high-quality customer service.

You will troubleshoot, maintain equipment, and perform system inspections, while adhering to safety protocols and company standards for efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education.
• EPA Certification is required.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Ability to service commercial units.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation, repair and maintenance.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong customer service and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues; perform routine maintenance.
• Replace defective components with proper tools and safety protocols.
• Run service calls efficiently using ServiceTitan or learn quickly.
• Provide on-site customer education, collect payments, and set expectations.
• Conduct system inspections and recommend improvements.
• Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively.
• Collaborate with dispatch, parts runners, and senior techs for support.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team! In this role, you will service or repair heating and air conditioning systems in residences or commercial establishments.

You have past experience in an HVAC service technician role and hold an EPA certification. A team player who is comfortable working independently, you love the feeling of a job well done and take pride in completing customer jobs with efficiency. A positive attitude is a must!

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve HVAC issues efficiently.
• Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, depending on the scope of the project.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
