Job summary

GreenSavers in Bend, OR is seeking a Level 3 HVAC Installer to own residential installations from setup through commissioning. You will work independently, troubleshoot confidently, and communicate clearly with customers while helping newer installers build their skills.

You will plan heat pumps, furnaces, water heating, ventilation and controls across homes, coordinate equipment placement, and ensure safe, high-quality work. Local travel and a valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 certification.
• 3–5+ years of residential HVAC installation or Level 2 experience.
• Strong knowledge of heat pumps, ductless systems, furnaces, controls, refrigeration, and commissioning.
• Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to complete standard installations independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders; and work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and changing weather.
• Valid driver’s license; additional certifications are a plus (NATE, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Plan equipment placement, piping, drainage, wiring, duct connections, and efficient crew workflow.
• Braze or flare, pressure-test, evacuate, charge, start up, and commission systems correctly.
• Diagnose installation and control issues and verify airflow and system performance.
• Complete accurate documentation and explain system operation to customers.
• Coach Level 1 and Level 2 installers and reinforce safety and quality standards.
