GreenSavers is a home-performance contractor in Portland seeking a Level 1 HVAC installer for a full-time, in-person role. You will assist with residential heating, cooling, and water-heating installations under supervision, then progress toward greater independence through hands-on training.

Expect safety-focused tasks, precise prep and staging, and adherence to installation standards as you build skills and responsibility on a collaborative Portland crew.

Competenze

• EPA Section 608 certification or ability to obtain it promptly.
• About 1+ year of related field experience, HVAC training, or demonstrated trainee-level skills.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and ability to follow plans and direction.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders; and work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and changing weather.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; basic electrical, sheet-metal, plumbing, or Spanish skills are a plus.

$22–$25/hour

Build your HVAC installation skills on a supportive Portland crew. Level 1 installers complete foundational work with routine direction and grow toward greater independence through hands‑on training and clear advancement expectations. You’ll support residential HVAC and water‑heating installations while taking ownership of safe, accurate foundational tasks. Prepare and protect jobsites, stage materials, and support equipment removal and placement. Complete assigned line‑set, condensate, pad, strapping, duct, and finish‑work tasks. Use tools safely and keep the truck, work area, and materials organized. Complete required photos, checklists, and closeout documentation. Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; climb ladders; and work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and changing weather. Valid driver’s license preferred; basic electrical, sheet‑metal, plumbing, or Spanish skills are a plus.
