Big Horn Heating and Cooling is seeking an Install Technician Apprentice to support the installation team in HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical systems. This entry-level role provides hands-on training and mentorship to develop into a skilled installer.

You will assist with residential and commercial installations, read blueprints, and learn start-up, testing, and calibration under supervision, while upholding safety and service excellence on job sites. Local travel within service areas is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Enrollment in or completion of a technical school or trade program is preferred.
• No prior installation experience required; willingness to learn is essential.

Responsabilités

• Assist experienced installers with residential and commercial system installations.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and installation instructions.
• Handle materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic assembly, installation, and alignment tasks under supervision.
• Observe and assist with system start-ups, testing, and calibration.
• Maintain clean and safe job sites.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and manufacturer installation guidelines.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good condition.
• Participate in training sessions, safety meetings, and on-the-job mentoring.
• Provide excellent customer service and professionalism on job sites.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
