F.H. Furr Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, & Electrical is offering an HVAC Install Helper training opportunity in Frederick, MD.

The program introduces you to the HVAC field with hands-on experience in our training lab and in the field alongside skilled technicians. The training will cover installing equipment per spec, basic electrical concepts, copper line soldering/brazing, duct installation, and gas-line connections.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and have a valid driver’s license.
• Strong decision-making abilities.
• Excellent attendance and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC related equipment following manufacturer specifications.
• Learn basic electrical concepts related to HVAC units.
• Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units including soldering and brazing.
• Install sheet metal and flex duct systems in homes.
• Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment.

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined, dependable, and ready to learn the HVAC trade. Our training will introduce you to the HVAC field and provide you with hands-on experience both in our training lab and in the field with skilled technicians to complete your training.

Our HVAC Install Helper training will teach candidates how to

• Install HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications
• Learn basic electricity as it pertains to HVAC units
• Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing
• Install sheet metal and flex duct systems in homes
• Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment
