Job summary

F. H. Furr is seeking mechanically inclined individuals for an HVAC Install Helper training program. You will receive hands‑on experience in our training lab and in the field with skilled technicians to complete your training.

Responsibilities include installing HVAC equipment per specs, learning basic electrical concepts, soldering/brazing copper lines, installing duct systems, and connecting gas lines to heating equipment.

Overview

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined, dependable, and ready to learn the HVAC trade.Our training will introduce you to the HVAC field and provide you with hands‑on experience both in our training lab and in the field with skilled technicians to complete your training.

Our HVAC Install Helper training will teach candidates how to:

• Install HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications
• Learn basic electricity as it pertains to HVAC units
• Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing
• Install sheet metal and flex duct systems inhomes
• Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment

• Company policy states that all candidates must be 21 or older and have a valid driver's license
