Job summary

F.H. Furr is seeking motivated individuals to start in an HVAC Install Helper training program.

You will gain hands-on experience in our training lab and in the field under skilled technicians, learning to install equipment, basic electrical concepts, refrigerant linework, duct systems, and gas line connections. The program provides paid weekly training with a robust benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), disability and life insurance, generous PTO and holidays, and

Responsibilities

• Learn to install HVAC equipment per manufacturer specifications.
• Acquire basics of electricity as it relates to HVAC units.
• Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing.
• Install sheet metal and flex duct systems in homes.
• Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment.

Overview

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined, dependable, and ready to learn the HVAC trade. Our training will introduce you to the HVAC field and provide you with hands-on experience both in our training lab and in the field with skilled technicians to complete your training.

Our HVAC Install Helper training will teach candidates how to:

• Install HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer's specifications
• Learn basic electricity as it pertains to HVAC units
• Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing
• Install sheet metal and flex duct systems in homes
• Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment
