F.H. Furr in Maryland is seeking mechanically inclined individuals for an HVAC Install Helper training program.

This role provides hands-on experience in our training lab and in the field with skilled technicians to complete your training. You will learn to install HVAC equipment, basic electrical concepts for HVAC, copper refrigerant lines (soldering/brazing), sheet metal and flex duct systems, and to connect gas lines.

• Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment.

Overview

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined, dependable, and ready to learn the HVAC trade.Our training will introduce you to the HVAC field and provide you with hands‑on experience both in our training lab and in the field with skilled technicians to complete your training.

Our HVAC Install Helper training will teach candidates how to:

• Install HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications
• Learn basic electricity as it pertains to HVAC units
• Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing
• Install sheet metal and flex duct systems inhomes
• Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment

Training:
