Job summary

Pure Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking a hands-on apprentice to work with lead installers on furnace, A/C, heat pump, and mini-split replacements. Ideal for someone who completed HVAC school and wants to learn proper, code-compliant installation techniques.

You will assist with equipment removal, ductwork, venting, gas piping, and system checks, while maintaining clean, organized job sites and treating every home with respect.

Qualifications

• HVAC trade school certificate, degree or program completion.
• EPA 608 certification.
• Basic hand and power tool skills.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in attics and crawl spaces.

Responsibilities

About the role

Where this role leads

Apprentices who show skill and reliability move up to installer, then lead installer. Lead installers take home a company vehicle.

Schedule and benefits
