Job summary

We Care Plumbing, Heating & Air in Orange, CA is seeking an HVAC Install Apprentice to perform retrofit replacements, working in crews to replace furnaces and air conditioners. You will conduct safety and performance tests, check for carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks, and communicate clearly with homeowners about the work.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC or home-service environments preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $18.00 - $23.00 Hourly

The primary duties of an HVAC Install Apprentice are to perform retrofit replacements for HVAC systems. Working in crews to remove and replace furnaces and air conditioners. Safety and performance tests are conducted for each system(s) as well as checking the area for carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks. A heavy emphasis is placed on customer service. Daily tasks include the technical aspect of the job, collecting payments, giving accurate and detailed information about each home and situation, maintaining truck inventory levels, among others. Communication with homeowners about the status of their system after the service has been performed.
