Job summary

We Care Plumbing, Heating & Air is seeking an HVAC Install Apprentice in Orange, CA. You will support licensed technicians by helping set up and install heating and air conditioning systems in homes and businesses, learning hands-on as you go. A strong willingness to learn and safety-conscious approach are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Enrollment in or interest in an HVAC apprenticeship or trade school program preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Willingness to learn HVAC installation practices and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC installers with setup, installation, and replacement of HVAC systems, including ductwork and wiring.
• Prepare tools, materials, and work areas, and perform basic tasks like measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembling under supervision.
• Follow blueprints and project instructions from senior technicians, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites, and document work performed and time logs as required.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers, and participate in training and safety meetings.
