Job summary

S & P Air Control in Phoenix, Arizona seeks a positive Inside Sales Representative. You will quote air movement control products like louvers, dampers, silencers, and acoustical enclosures for commercial/industrial projects, handling calls from customers and guiding them through the quote process.

The role requires building strong relationships, delivering excellent customer service, and coordinating with engineering and production to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required.
• 2+ years HVAC industry experience.
• Experience in Inside Sales/Account Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop business relationships with assigned accounts.
• Provide a high level of customer service promptly and efficiently.
• Communicates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
• Identifies advantages and compares organization's products and services.
• Make contact through telephone and email to existing and prospective customers to present products and information.
• Follow up on submitted quote requests and project management for existing orders.
• Monitor and follow up on active jobs and quotes.
• Develop technical understanding of company products and their applications.
• Act as first responder for customer call-in requests regarding products or services.
• It is essential that this position provides good communication between the customers, engineering and the production teams in order to achieve positive customer experience
• Process and enter sales orders and quotations thru internal pricing program
• Do project take offs for customers as needed
• Maintain project schedules in quote/project management system ensuring timely project management including Submittals, drawing approvals, Delivery Schedules
• Other tasks as assigned
• Participating in trade shows as needed.
• Less than 10% travel to visit key accounts annually
