Job summary

Trane Technologies in Carrollton, TX is hiring an Inside Sales Specialist to support our outside sales team in the Texas-Gulf Coast Region. You will handle quotes, order processing, pricing, and delivery coordination for Light Commercial Unitary Equipment (3-25 tons) in replacement applications.

You'll act as a key contact for the sales team and customers, maintain data logs, and mentor peers. Opportunities may include lead generation and market intelligence as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service and inside sales experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• HVAC experience preferred but not required.
• Associates or bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key contact to sales team and customers to provide information on complete sales cycle from quote through delivery.
• Maintain the LCUR data log information to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Mentor peers and share standard methodologies with those less experienced as needed.
• Project Manager Responsibilities: Issue POs, Manage budgets, Close out projects, Process new orders, Ensure the order process is complete and error-free.
• Estimating/Quoting Responsibilities: Develop and maintain product knowledge for strategic and competitive application, Develop quotes from identified customer needs, Determine and select appropriate equipment in Trane Selection Software, Set pricing and generate proposals.
