Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for commercial HVAC to assist customers with product orders, shipment tracking, and account support. The role collaborates with Account Managers, warehouse staff, and operations teams in a fast-paced environment.

Location is Seattle, WA. Pay ranges from $25 to $30 per hour, with commission potential based on experience. HVAC knowledge is helpful but not required; distribution experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous sales, customer service, order-processing, or distribution experience.
• Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and order-processing systems.
• HVAC product or warehouse experience is a plus.
• Fishbowl inventory software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Process orders from phone, email, and walk-in customers.
• Provide pricing, product availability, and order-status information.
• Support Account Managers with customer requests.
• Enter and maintain orders in the company’s inventory system.
• Track shipments and coordinate project or jobsite deliveries.
• Process returns, credits, warranty requests, and freight claims.
• Prepare outgoing shipments and assist with order picking when needed.
• Review open orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain clear communication across sales, warehouse, and operations teams.
