Job summary

Ambient Enterprises in Fort Myers, Florida, is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to support day-to-day sales operations and act as a technical advisor through the HVAC sales process. You will collaborate with Sales Engineers to understand project requirements and help prepare proposals and performance documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC and 1–3 years of HVAC experience, with strong knowledge of HVAC systems, selection tools, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and commercial/industrial applications.
• Proficiency with HVAC selection/software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical advisor and product expert throughout the HVAC sales process.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers and customers to understand project requirements and recommend solutions.
• Prepare detailed proposals, submittals, and performance documentation to support sales efforts.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers, contractors, and consultants.
