Job summary

Integrated Cooling Solutions seeks an Inside Sales Engineer Intern to join our HVAC equipment team for Summer 2027. You will work with Inside and Outside Sales Engineers to support projects from design through estimating, submittals, ordering, and delivery.

You’ll gain exposure to manufacturers, product lines, and commercial HVAC applications while developing engineering, coordination, and sales support skills for a future career in HVAC sales engineering.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field,Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
• Ideal candidate is entering junior or senior year by Summer 2027.
• Interest in commercial HVAC, building systems, technical sales, estimating, engineering, construction, or project management.
• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn HVAC equipment and applications.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, or other technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial HVAC projects from initial design and estimating through order, delivery, and completion.
• Review plans, specs, schedules to understand design intent and equipment needs.
• Assist with selecting and applying HVAC equipment based on specs and customer needs.
• Prepare equipment estimates, pricing, proposals, and design options.
• Coordinate information with manufacturers and internal teams.
• Prepare submittals, data, and project materials.
• Organize project information for entry and release of equipment.
• Track schedules, lead times, and follow‑ups with the team.
• Communicate professionally with customers, engineers, and colleagues.
• Build job files and maintain customer records in company systems.
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-growing environment.
• Investigate concerns and support the team toward resolution.
• Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions.
