Job summary

Columbia Hydronics / California Hydronics in Spokane, WA seeks a Business Development Representative to collect specifications, support fellow reps, and collaborate with engineers, design/build contractors, and end-users in HVAC & R sectors.

The role involves visiting clients, maintaining product knowledge, and coordinating with the Quotations Department on quotes and bid strategies while documenting progress in Salesforce. Travel is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree or suitable work experience.
• Proficient with email, Internet Explorer, Excel and Word.
• Willingness to travel as required by the role.

Responsibilities

• Regularly visits and communicates with clients.
• Updates and tracks opportunities in Salesforce; monitors project progress.
• Assists engineering and design teams with bid specs and quotations.
• Develops strong relationships with engineers, end-users and architects.
