Qualifications

• Experience teaching HVAC technologies and safety.
• Ability to coordinate hands-on lab training and classroom instruction.
• Familiarity with industry certifications (EPA 608, A2L, OSHA-10, NATE Ready-to-Work, NORA).

Responsibilities

• Instruct students on current HVAC technologies, safety, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare students for common industry certifications (EPA Section 608, A2L, OSHA-10, NATE Ready-to-Work, NORA).
• Assess student progress and maintain a safe, professional shop environment.
• Assist with curriculum development, implementation, and revision.
• Support student recruitment and admissions as needed.
• Use instructional technology to enhance learning (e.g., Canvas).
• Maintain attendance, progress records, and required documentation.
• Collaborate with Workforce staff and faculty to align with employer needs.
• Coordinate with employer partners to ensure curriculum relevance and student job placement.
