Job summary

Century Mechanical Holdings is seeking a General Manager to drive strategic growth and operational excellence in the residential/commercial HVAC field. You will lead field operations, safety, project management, and customer outcomes while shaping the company’s direction and profitability.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of ten years of HVAC management experience, strong leadership, and a track record of building high-performing teams. A construction management or related degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of verifiable full-time management experience in residential/commercial HVAC.
• Working knowledge of HVAC methods, techniques, systems and applicable codes.
• Professional degree preferably in Construction Management or equivalent.
• Willingness to grow and improve operationally and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production interfacing with executive leadership, finance, field ops, safety and project management.
• Ensure successful execution of Plumbing & HVAC service operations.
• Provide oversight to keep managers on track and within budget.
• Mentor and guide recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, training, coaching and disciplining of the operations team.
• Drive development and continuous improvement of organizational protocols, practices, and tools.
• Collaborate with Ownership on long- and short-term growth plans.
• Drive safety, quality and profitability to meet company objectives.
• Provide timely, accurate reports on operating condition to Ownership.
• Act as strategic partner on leadership team across sales, service, installation, and operations.
• Operate autonomously while meeting Ownership expectations.
• Foster a high-performance, accountable environment.
