Job summary

Lennox International is seeking a Training Specialist to cover the West Coast with up to 80% travel. You will develop and deliver training on HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair, and troubleshoot technical inquiries.

You will also help create course content, objectives, syllabi, and student materials, updating resources as needed. Strong presentation and communication skills, plus MS Office and WebEx proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; two-year college degree, HVAC degree, or equivalent preferred.
• Requires at least 1 year of training experience plus 5 years of technical experience; advanced product knowledge and diagnostic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers training courses for installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC products.
• Troubleshoots technical inquiries and identifies training needs.
• ,
• Assists in developing, testing, and maintaining training materials.
• Establishes course content and learning objectives.
• May prepare syllabi, lesson plans, student manuals, and coordinate training aids.
• Reviews problem areas and updates materials to stay current.
• Delivers training using all methods of delivery.
