Job summary

Lennox International seeks an experienced Training Specialist to develop and deliver HVAC training to customers and technicians across the North Central region. The role involves travel up to 75% and delivering courses on installation, maintenance, and repair of Commercial HVAC systems.

Under limited supervision, you will tailor content, assess learning outcomes, and maintain up-to-date course materials while leveraging MS Office and WebEx for effective delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer a two-year college degree, HVAC degree, or equivalent.
• Typically requires at least 5 years of relevant training experience plus at least 5 years of technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers training courses for customers or technical employees in HVAC installation, maintenance and repair.
• Troubleshoots technical inquiries for Commercial HVAC.
• Identifies customer needs for Commercial HVAC.
• Develops, tests, and maintains training materials and courses.
• Establishes course content and learning objectives.
• Prepares syllabi, lesson plans and manuals as needed.
• Reviews problem areas and assesses training effectiveness.
• Keeps course materials up-to-date and delivers training via multiple methods.
• May guide entry-level trainers.
