Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a qualified HVAC Service Technician to perform diagnostic and service tasks on residential and light commercial systems. You will communicate with customers, answer questions, and promote services while working under supervision from a Field Supervisor or General Manager.

The role requires an Associate's degree or HVAC-related certification and 2–5 years of HVAC experience, with EPA and safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree/Certification in HVAC or related field (required/advantageous).
• 2 to 5 years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification required.
• Must possess all valid licensing or certification as required by laws for the work area.
• EPA and safety certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Works under minimal supervision to perform residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional manner.
• Diagnoses and performs services on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed.
• Delivery and removal of parts and equipment needed to complete service work.
• Records all required information on customer calls and completes forms/paperwork accurately.
• Maintains effective communication with dispatch and reports status.
