Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and commission systems at customer sites. You will use HVAC theory, pipe fitting and mechanical layouts, collaborating with project managers and customers to meet on-site requirements.

Minimum 5 years in HVAC, High School diploma, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license are required. The role is hourly, on-site with opportunities for overtime and career growth within a leading climate solutions

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required, and typically 5 plus years of experience in HVAC.
• EPA Certification is required and preferred.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Represents the company as the direct customer contact on assigned projects.
• Diagnoses and repairs equipment and systems at customer locations.
• Uses hand-tools and standard software to troubleshoot and repair units.
• Maintains safety, records asset conditions and works overtime when needed.
