Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company is seeking a Field Technical Support Representative to serve the U.S. Midwest and Central Canada districts.

This field-based role provides HVAC technical advice and training to distributors and their dealers on application, installation, operation, and service of Rheem products. You will conduct site visits, escalate complex issues, and act as a technical liaison among customers, contractors, and internal teams, with travel about 50% and the ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• Associates degree in technical field.
• 5+ years direct HVAC or industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC refrigeration cycle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• Must be able to perform physical functions including lifting up to 50 pounds, crawling and climbing.
• Ability to travel roughly 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier-one escalation support and diagnostic guidance for complex commercial and residential HVAC and building control issues.
• Coach, mentor, and train customers and HVAC technicians on best practices, safety protocols, installation, troubleshooting, and new technologies.
• Conduct site visits to investigate product failures, manufacturing defects, and to aid in training for customers.
• Act as the technical liaison between customers, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues within the field.
• Perform other duties as required.
