Job summary

Trane Technologies in the Southeast is hiring a Service Project Manager to join our Service Sales team. You will quote and enter service work, order parts, schedule labor, and ensure projects run smoothly from estimate to completion across multiple sites, including Greenville, SC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum two years’ experience in project management, HVAC or related.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; practical experience prioritized.
• Experience with contracting processes and estimating HVAC installations.
• Computer skills are essential.
• Highly organized and customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned projects on time, ensure financial performance and customer satisfaction.
• Plan and analyze projects, set schedules, parameters, and procedures.
• Create estimates, generate proposals, enter projects, order parts, track parts, schedule labor, and assist billing.
• Enter service estimates, issue purchase orders, and generate work orders.
• Manage service projects from estimate to completion.
• Receive and qualify subcontractor proposals; assist Sales as needed.
• Communicate with customers and representatives; maintain satisfaction and address concerns.
• Ensure staff and subcontractors work safely per Trane and OSHA.
• Less than 5% travel to customer sites is required.
