Job summary

Integra is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician – HVAC in Houston, TX to guide field technicians, oversee installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting across complex systems. You will act as the technical authority on job sites and coordinate safety, quality, and customer communications.

The ideal candidate has extensive HVAC field and leadership experience, strong diagnostics skills, and the ability to mentor teams while ensuring on‑time, compliant project execution.

Qualifications

• Extensive HVAC field experience in installation, diagnostics, repairs, and commissioning.
• Proven leadership directing field personnel or complex projects.
• Strong planning and coordination skills on active job sites.
• Ability to resolve escalated technical issues and guide teams.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and adapt to field environments.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; OSHA 10 required; EPA 608 certification preferred.
• Additional training in controls, diagnostics, VFDs, or related areas valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily field activities, assigning technicians and supporting installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Serve as technical authority on job sites with advanced diagnostics, commissioning, and start‑up verification.
• Oversee field prep, workflow planning, resource allocation, and schedules.
• Ensure safety, codes, quality standards, and customer specifications compliance.
• Coach and mentor technicians with on‑the‑job training and feedback.
• Review field work quality and provide corrective guidance.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and customers to resolve issues.
• Lead customer communication during field execution and present findings.
• Complete field documentation like commissioning reports and safety checklists.
• Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement.
• Perform additional duties to support objectives.
