Job summary

Integra in Houston is seeking a Field Service Lead - Generators to oversee field operations, mentor technicians, and coordinate installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and repairs at customer sites.

You will diagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues, perform advanced troubleshooting, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and reliable power solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of generator service experience, with 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Advanced knowledge of generator systems, electrical controls, and mechanical components.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, meters, test equipment, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ability to travel to customer sites; valid driver's license; OSHA/NFPA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and repair of generator systems at multiple sites.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and perform advanced troubleshooting.
• Conduct inspections and load bank tests to verify system performance, electrical output, and efficiency.
• Mentor and train field technicians; plan, assign, and monitor daily field activities.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, and engineering teams to resolve escalated service issues.
• Maintain service records and ensure safety, codes, and industry standards are followed.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide leadership during emergency service situations.
