Job summary

Advanced Air Systems is seeking an experienced HVAC Technical Supervisor to lead our commercial service team with hands-on field oversight and quality control. The role blends office tasks and on-site visits, supporting technicians, reviewing work, and addressing technical issues in collaboration with the HVAC Service Manager.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HVAC, strong safety standards, and proficiency in MS Word/Excel/Outlook.

Qualifications

• 4-year technical degree or equivalent or extensive experience in the commercial HVAC industry preferred.
• Over 5 years in the HVAC industry with hands-on experience.
• Experience in HVAC Service Industry.
• Available to respond to service emergencies as needed, including participation in an on-call rotation.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• CAD or SketchUp experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enforce branch objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards in accordance with corporate guidelines.
• Monitor and ensure the quality of commercial HVAC service work through job site visits and inspections.
• Support assigned customer relationships and assist with issue and conflict resolution.
• Monitor technician safety performance and ensure compliance with company and OSHA safety programs.
• Assist with job scoping and estimating for repairs, replacements, and maintenance work.
• Meet regularly with technicians to review daily work activities and ensure job readiness.
• Respond to on-site incidents and service emergencies in accordance with company procedures.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
• Assist with diagnosing and resolving complex technical HVAC issues.
• Train, coach, and discipline technicians as needed to address technical or performance issues.
• Conduct monthly toolbox talks and reinforce safety and quality standards.
