Job summary

Jetson is expanding its Portland market and seeks an experienced HVAC Field Operations Manager to ensure installation teams are supported, well-coordinated, and compliant with safety standards. The role blends field leadership with process optimization to drive efficient, high-quality residential heat-pump installations.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate resources, and collaborate with logistics, procurement and scheduling to meet project timelines while upholding Jetson’s standards for

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a management role, overseeing field teams.
• Proven experience as HVAC install team member and team lead.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including heat pumps.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Follows OSHA Electrical Standard and LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily readiness of field teams by coordinating tools, equipment, vehicles, parts, and job documentation.
• Act as the primary liaison between the field crew and internal departments such as logistics, procurement, and scheduling.
• Conduct site visits to provide support, coaching, and quality assurance for active installation projects.
• Monitor and enforce company safety standards and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Identify operational obstacles and work proactively to resolve issues that impact field productivity or installation timelines.
