Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role (stooping, standing, walking, stairs/ladders, 50 lb+ lifts).
• CFC Universal Certification preferred.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience analyzing information and applying standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility management and maintenance with a strong focus on preventive maintenance and HVAC systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Fire Life Safety (FLS) equipment, including fire extinguishers.
• Perform electrical maintenance on powered industrial vehicles (PIV), including forklifts and related equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
