Job summary

Cedar Community in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Technician specialized in HVAC & Facilities to keep buildings, equipment, and mechanical systems running safely and efficiently.

You will troubleshoot heating systems, boilers, refrigeration, ventilation, air handlers, and controls, perform preventive maintenance, and handle repairs and work orders with a focus on safety and reliability for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• One to two years of related maintenance, facilities, HVAC, or mechanical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including heating, boilers, refrigeration, ventilation, and controls.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• HVAC & Mechanical Systems – Maintain and troubleshoot heating systems, boilers, refrigeration, ventilation, air handlers, thermostats, controls, pumps, motors, and related components.
• Preventive Maintenance – Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment and building systems.
• Repairs & Work Orders – Troubleshoot and complete repairs involving plumbing, lighting, equipment, and other general maintenance needs.
• Building Systems & Equipment – Maintain water systems and set up, test, and repair facility and resident equipment.
• Safety & Reliability – Help ensure Cedar Community's buildings, systems, and equipment remain safe, functional, and reliable for residents and team members.
