Job summary

TM Associates Management, Inc. maintains heating, cooling and electrical systems to provide safe, reliable building services.

The Maintenance Person reports to the Site Manager and coordinates daily tasks to keep units and common areas in good order. Responsibilities include servicing heaters and air-conditioners, turning over vacated units, inspecting and maintaining equipment, reporting hazards, and performing landscaping and light maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to perform maintenance work safely and efficiently.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds and using basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heaters, air-conditioners and related equipment to ensure safe operation and continuous hot water service.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on apartments and turnover units.
• Inspect buildings and grounds, report deficiencies, and coordinate with the Site Manager.
• Provide housekeeping for public areas and assist with landscaping activities.
• Report health/safety issues and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Bring tools to site and attend mandatory meetings; valid driver's license required.
