Daikin Comfort is seeking an AER Commercial Estimator to support estimating efforts for applied HVAC projects. You will manage bids from receipt to submission, analyze mechanical plans for capacity, design feasibility, and code compliance, and suggest design adjustments as needed.

You will collaborate with customers, sales teams and branch personnel, prepare accurate cost estimates and submittals, and provide responsive help desk support to ensure complete, competitive proposals aligned with

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Engineering degree preferred.
• HVAC experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Aufgaben

• Receive requests for quotations and prepare responses accurately and timely.
• Prepare cost estimates by analyzing Mechanical plans / HVAC Plans and project requirements.
• Confer with customers, sales account managers, and outside sales engineers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements.
• Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs.
• Generate submittals including accurate drawings and product data.
• Recommend improved products or systems to lower costs or increase efficiency.
