Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is seeking an HVAC Selling Technician to join our sales team, selling equipment and services to residential customers. You will discuss needs, provide quotes, and promote our products during home visits or in-office consultations.

We offer competitive base pay with commissions, bonuses, spiffs, and employee-owned company benefits, including 401K with company match, health and dental insurance, disability coverage, and holiday/birthday pay.

Qualifications

Ability to determine residential HVAC service needs and perform repairs.
Interact and communicate well with customers in homes and businesses.
Understand residential heating and cooling equipment operation, IAQ, air distribution, and basic repairs.
Training to expand knowledge and pursue further certification will be provided.
Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 25 lbs.
Must be able to crawl, climb, kneel, squat and reach overhead; climb ladders.
Must have valid driver’s license and pass drug tests and background checks.

Responsibilities

Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff and coworkers.
Be thorough in inspections and accurate in quoting replacements or repairs.
Complete proposed work as quoted.
Participate in all required staff meetings and training sessions.
Maintain a positive attitude and promote a professional, friendly work environment.
