Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is seeking an HVAC Selling Technician to join our sales team, selling equipment and services to residential customers. You will discuss needs, provide quotes, and promote our products during home visits or in-office consultations.

We offer competitive base pay with commissions, bonuses, spiffs, and employee-owned company benefits, including 401K with company match, health and dental insurance, disability coverage, and holiday/birthday pay.

Qualifications

• Ability to determine residential HVAC service needs and perform repairs.
• Interact and communicate well with customers in homes and businesses.
• Understand residential heating and cooling equipment operation, IAQ, air distribution, and basic repairs.
• Training to expand knowledge and pursue further certification will be provided.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to crawl, climb, kneel, squat and reach overhead; climb ladders.
• Must have valid driver’s license and pass drug tests and background checks.

Summers Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is looking for anaddition or two to our Sales Tech group.We offer a very competitive hourly ratewith commissions, bonuses and spiffs on top of your hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have the ability to determine residential HVAC service needs, and perform repairs. Employees must be able to interact and communicate well with customers in their homes and businesses.
• Candidates will understand residential heating and cooling equipment operation, IAQ, air distribution systems and basic repairs of HVAC appliances and fixtures.
• Training to expand knowledge base and areas of expertise will be provided with further certification expected.
• All interested candidates must currently be able to troubleshoot and repair a variety of residential HVAC systems as well as install supporting IAQ products according to manufacturer's specifications and applicable codes.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend and reach overhead
• Must be able to climb and work on ladders
• Must be able to use hand and power tools
• Drug testing, background checks and valid driver's license are conditions of employment
