Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Construction Project Manager for the Building Solutions North America business. This role leads large, complex HVAC equipment construction projects ($3M+), with occasional travel to customer sites and DC market responsibilities.

You will ensure projects are executed on time and within budget, develop schedules, and coordinate with engineers, sales, and installation teams. Strong PM, risk management, and cost control are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and related documentation tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary internal leader for execution teams on assigned projects and develops project schedules.
• Evaluates contractual scope and coordinates cost estimates, proposals and change orders.
• Manages costs, billings and collections, ensuring profitability and positive cash flow.
• Reviews contract terms, communicates progress, issues, and financial status to management.
