Job summary

Trane Technologies in Flint, MI is hiring an Equipment Estimator II to work with customers, account managers, project managers, technicians and suppliers to ensure timely estimates and project execution.

You will review plans, perform cost estimates for HVAC equipment, and support the sales team with pricing and proposals; this role requires a degree in engineering or related field and 3–5 years of estimating or project management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or business management.
• 3–5 years’ experience in estimating, project management, HVAC or construction management.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driver’s license for 12+ months with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications to develop cost estimates for HVAC projects.
• Provide knowledge and consultation for facility-related solutions.
• Determine project needs and responsibilities to meet HVAC design requirements.
• Coordinate selection, pricing, and integration of equipment and services for each project.
• Prepare and review preliminary/final proposals and equipment submittals.
