Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HVAC Engineer to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for complex commercial HVAC systems and perform proactive maintenance. The role is part of Engineering and Technical Services, focusing on preventive maintenance, support, and repairs across equipment and systems.

Responsibilities include wiring and calibrating control systems, leading teams, and ensuring safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
Physical requirements: ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift 50 lbs+.
Ability to exercise judgment using multiple information sources.
Willingness to adopt new perspectives on existing solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion.
Install, repair, calibrate, service and maintain control systems for HVAC and related equipment.
Inspect and maintain building HVAC equipment for proper operation and code compliance.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify corrective actions.
Share knowledge and coach others within the function.
Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
Impact a range of client, project, or service activities within teams.
Explain difficult or sensitive information.
