Job summary

CBRE HVAC Engineer role focusing on maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for complex commercial HVAC systems, with proactive testing and scheduled maintenance. This position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

You will assign tasks, inspect equipment, troubleshoot failures, and ensure safety and code compliance while applying standard principles to solve problems and mentor others

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion.
• Install, repair, service and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems on HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
• Inspect and perform ongoing maintenance to ensure proper operation and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best modification paths.
• Apply principles to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge within the function.
• Lead by example and foster CBRE RISE values in the team.
• Impact a range of customer, operational or service activities within the team and related groups.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information to stakeholders.
