Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HVAC Engineer to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for complex commercial HVAC systems, performing proactive testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance. The role sits within the Engineering and Technical Services group and requires providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment.

You will be responsible for assigning tasks, implementing control system work, and ensuring safety and compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills for percentages and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to team members and ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner.
• Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems for building HVAC and refrigeration, calibrating related instruments and control components.
• Inspect and perform ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for modifications.
• Coach others and share knowledge; lead by example within the function and related teams.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information clearly to stakeholders.
