Job summary

ISS Group / Guckenheimer is seeking an HVAC Manager to lead energy and sustainability initiatives, oversee Clockworks FDD, and train teams across client facilities. The role interfaces with local FM, Engineering Staff, and JFKIAT to drive data-driven improvements and standardized solutions.

The position requires expertise in HVAC and building systems, strong communication, and project leadership. A dynamic, remote-capable team environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with energy topics and sustainable building management.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, building automation and control systems.
• Ability to perform energy analysis and ROI calculations.
• Excellent communication skills with both remote and on-site teams.
• Strong data analysis using spreadsheets and data apps.
• Experience in CMMS software systems.
• Self-starter with leadership and project management abilities.
• Must hold a valid state driver's license.
• Preferred: LEED AP, Well AP, CEM.

Responsibilities

• Data & Reporting: Complete monthly data reports and ensure accuracy.
• Track energy consumption and waste against goals.
• Strategy and implementation of energy scope across client portfolio.
• Maintain energy data records with vendors and account teams.
• Forecast energy costs with account finance teams.
• Review utility invoices and cost structures.
• Lead energy initiatives with project teams.
• Develop year-over-year strategic program roadmaps.
• Oversee pilot tests of new energy solutions.
• Collaborate with site engineering to meet standards.
