Job summary

Trane Technologies plc in the United States seeks an Energy & Analytics Specialist to analyze HVAC and facility data, identify opportunities, and propose energy-saving measures.

You will review utility bills, analyze rate structures, interpret drawings, and collaborate with project teams and sales to deliver technically sound, economically feasible solutions while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of utility bills, rate structures, and utility analysis.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC fundamentals, building controls, and their impact on energy consumption.
• Ability to interpret facility drawings and sequences of operation.
• Strong analytical, data interpretation, and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to identify system deficiencies and explain technical concepts to customers.
• Experience identifying and quantifying energy conservation measures (ECMs).
• Ability to work cross-functionally with project development and sales teams.
• Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze HVAC system and facility data to identify energy savings opportunities.
• Develop solutions to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs.
• Evaluate utility bills and rate structures for cost analyses.
• Assess system performance using HVAC expertise and drawings.
• Support solution development with facility documentation and sequences of operation.
• Quantify energy conservation measures (ECMs).
• Collaborate with project teams to define requirements.
• Partner with sales to develop customer proposals balancing performance and cost.
• Communicate findings and value clearly to customers.
• Deliver high-level customer service with strong communication and responsiveness.
