Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Account Engineer to analyze building and energy data, create consultative documentation, and support customers with energy-saving initiatives.

You will lead quarterly Technical Strategy Reviews, travel to customer sites, and collaborate with account managers and field technicians to grow service and control sales. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent from four-year college or university preferred.
• Strong familiarity with operation of energy management systems, building automation systems, HVAC systems and/or temperature controls.
• Experience collecting data, analyzing and presenting data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze building and energy data to identify meaningful outcomes.
• Lead quarterly or semiannual Technical Strategy Review meetings for each Connected Service Agreement customer.
• Utilize energy conservation measures to help optimize building operations and drive sustainability projects.
• Fulfill Digital Services contract obligations effectively, efficiently and within safety standards.
• Gather and validate preliminary information and perform facility walkthrough, construction plan review or other requirements.
• Collaborates with account managers and field technicians to assist in growing sales for Service Agreements, Service Quoted, Turnkey, and Controls sales.
• Plan and schedule work as needed with the Project Administratorservice team
• Travel to customer job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms.
