Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Account Engineer to analyze building and energy data, lead technical reviews with customers, and drive sustainability projects. You will collaborate with account managers and field technicians to grow sales for Service Agreements and related offerings, while planning and scheduling work with the service team.

The role requires a strong HVAC and data analytics background, good communication skills, and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with HVAC systems, controls and data analytics (data-driven decisions).
• Experience with energy management or building automation is preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical information and present it clearly to customers and team members.
• Experience collecting, analyzing and presenting data accurately.
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Analyze building and energy data to identify meaningful outcomes.
• Lead quarterly or semiannual Technical Strategy Review meetings for Connected Service Agreement customers.
• Utilize energy conservation measures to optimize building operations and drive sustainability projects.
• Fulfill Digital Services contract obligations safely and efficiently.
• Gather and validate information and perform facility walkthroughs or plan reviews.
• Collaborate with account managers and field technicians to support sales for Service Agreements and related offerings.
• Plan and schedule work with the Project Administrator service team.
• Travel to customer job sites as required, including outdoor work or in mechanical spaces.
