Job summary

LVI Associates in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Project Manager to organize and control service projects, coordinate with Engineering, Programming, and Operations, and ensure on-time scheduling and commissioning workloads.

The candidate will hire electrical subcontractors, order project materials, manage change orders, and oversee billing while maintaining high standards of installation practices and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading service projects and scheduling.
• Knowledge of HVAC and DDC systems.
• Experience with project closeout, billing, and change orders.
• Ability to manage multiple service projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Organizes Service Projects: accepts projects from Administration, completes required documentation, analyzes timelines, and defines project requirements.
• Hires Electrical Subcontractors: reviews bids, collaborates with Sales, prepares subcontract docs, ensures execution of subcontract agreements.
• Orders Project Materials: processes material requisitions, coordinates with suppliers and panel builders, schedules deliveries.
• Directs Electrical Subcontractors: reviews scope, contracts, communicates timelines, enforces installation standards, verifies work completion.
• Manages Project Billing: coordinates with Administration to generate billing and works with customers to meet requirements.
• Communicates Project Information: site visits, documents progress, attends meetings, updates schedules, manages change orders including pricing and execution.
• Completes Service Projects: supports technicians with scheduling and startup activities, coordinates with Engineering for system adjustments, closes out documentation.
• Achieves Financial Objectives: reviews labor cost reports and initiates corrective actions.
• Maintains Technical Knowledge: stays current through training, industry publications, and internal resources.
